Summary:
 
The Charter Support Specialist is a highly motivated individual that is responsible for supporting the needs of the Charter Sales Executives and Charter Sales Team by handling all administrative and accounting functions and managing all logistics around charter trips.
 
Duties & Responsibilities:
  1. Collect, input, and confirm all trips details for all charter flights into the Flight Operations System (FOS) and update as needed.
  2. Coordinate, arrange and confirm all trip logistics (such as catering, ground transportation, hotel, etc.).
  3. Remain in communication with charter clients to stay ahead of issues and have the most up to date information for each trip.
  4. Find solutions for any issues that are addressed in the operational preview for the next day’s trips.
  5. Invoice all charter flights and follow-up on any incidentals.
  6. Ensure payment for all charter flights are received prior to flight or according to terms.
  7. Update industry partners and marketing sites with our fleet additions.
  8. Collaborate with Fleet Optimization to maximize aircraft scheduling efficiency and meet company goals.
  9. Maintain charter client records and preferences in FOS.
  10. Communicate and escalate service issues timely and effectively.
  11. Participate in department training, industry networking events and client meetings as needed.
  12. Assist the team with coordinating marketing plans and efforts.
  13. Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with industry partners.
  14. Maintain understanding of local and national industry trends.
  15. Share in the on-call rotation as needed and on designated nights/holidays.
  16. Regular and predictable on-site attendance.

  18. Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
 
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all levels of the company and its customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Flight Operation System (FOS)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Self-motivated and willingness to take initiative to research and resolve problems
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours as needed.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment, discretion, and initiative
  • Ability to multi-task and complete work within assigned timelines under minimal supervision
  • Operate office equipment as needed
 
Education and Work Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Two or more years of related Customer Service or Accounting experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
 
Physical Requirements:
  • Majority of work is completed in a normal office work environment
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Able to complete physical activities such as standing, sitting, walking, talking, and hearing to perform daily work functions
  • Must be able to move up to 25 pounds on an infrequent basis
 
Documentation Requirements: 
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. driver's license
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the US
Compensation:
Jet Linx offers a competitive compensation and benefits package to team members.  Starting base annual salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to $ 67,000. Actual base salary provided is dependent upon geographic location, aircraft size (crew positions), relevant education, training and experience of the candidate.  Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with 6% company match, paid time off and company paid life and short-term disability coverage.
